when composer Jim Ellis was recording the closing theme to WKRP, he didn't have the lyrics completed yet, so he sang nonsense words to give an idea of how it would sound. because CBS always had an announcer talking over the closing credits, the producers knew that no one would actually hear the closing theme lyrics, so they left it as is. they also thought it would be funny to use lyrics that were deliberately gibberish as a satire on the incomprehensibility of many rock songs of the day. sooooo, here is an animated interpretation of those lyrics. ENJOY!
