on October 1, 1993, about 5 months before his death, Bill Hicks was scheduled to appear on The Late Show With David Letterman for his 12th appearance. however, his entire performance was removed from the broadcast because Letterman and his producer were nervous about Hicks' edgy jokes. on January 30, 2009, Bill's mother was invited on The Late Show, and Letterman played Hicks' routine in its entirety and apologized. here is that lost 1993 clip.
