Last summer, my sister asked me to build a bread kiln. I didn’t have time to until recently. Bread kiln is popular abroad, but few Chinese bake in this way. Bread from a kiln has crisp crust, with soft and sweet inside, carrying the scent and warmth of charcoals. You could smell happiness if you’ve tried.
